Back in October, The West Ottawan invited students and staff to submit thoughtfully captured photos of the WOHS campus, guided by the question: “What makes the WOHS campus a beautiful or remarkable place?” The newspaper staff was delighted by the submissions and put them all to an anonymous vote. Below are the student and staff winners, as well as some honorable mentions. Thank you to everyone who submitted a photo – we hope all students and staff will consider contributing to future contests!
Student winner: Soph. Julia Koster
Regarding her photo submission, Koster said the following: “The WOHS campus represents community. The stadium is a great example of this! It is a wonderful place for friends, families, and classmates to gather for a lighthearted event.”

Staff Winner: Instructor Chris Knoll
Regarding his photo, Knoll said “The pavement that connects the two buildings that make up our high school leads to learning.”
