“The greatest piece of advice I have is to do it for the plot; on days you feel like staying in bed or staying home, go out, you’ll never know what you could be missing out on. I try to do as many activities outside of school as I can such as going to basketball, football, soccer games, etc. There have been many times where I wanted to stay home but one of my friends convinced me to go out and I ended up having a better time than I would’ve had staying home. I’ve discovered that pushing past your comfort can lead to unexpectedly delightful moments and introduce you to new connections. With this mindset, I’ve met so many new friends including my best friend Annemarie. I encourage you all to embrace opportunities beyond your comfort zone. Venturing out creates memories that will last you a lifetime. You never know who you’re gonna meet and see who knows you could meet your future boyfriend!” Soph. Priya Jansen said.
