Between the first and second Presidential debate, The West Ottawan conducted a poll among West Ottawa students and teachers. The student poll was an online survey including the choices of Hillary Clinton, Donald Trump, Gary Johnson, and a write in option. Teachers anonymously marked a ballot consisting of the same options, and placed it in a box. Thirty-five teacher responses were collected, consisting of mostly South teachers. Forty-three students responded to the online vote, with a nearly even gender split, but with overwhelming upperclassmen responses. The results are below.
