“In my family Christmastime is always really special because my dad came from Germany so he has a lot of traditions, like St. Nicholas Day. We open up all the presents, like the night before, so on Christmas Eve. I always looked forward to it just because it was different from what my classmates had and it felt really special to me and I still do. I love the holiday season, just cause I feel like it’s a time where I can give gifts to everyone without, having to, like, explain myself. I can just give someone socks and they’re like ‘Oh, thank you, yay,’ so it’s really great. I just, I always love Christmas. I was a big Elf on the Shelf, like I touched it once, just to see, and my parents forgot to move it and I was like ‘Oh my God it’s real.’ So it was always really nice and special to me and I just love the holidays, so I would say, the traditions with that are my favorite and I just look forward to the entire season,” Jr. Julia Warmuth said.
