“Last year, during my dive season, I was competing in a meet. It was your average meet, I mean, I wasn’t doing amazing, but I wasn’t doing terrible. That was until I slipped off the diving board, landing and fracturing my back. Since it was towards the end of the season, it didn’t really affect my dive season; however, it did create an obstacle for golf. For about the first third of the golf, I had to sit out of the season. I couldn’t play the game I truly loved, which was hard for me. To help get better, I went to a lot of physical therapy to try to make a quicker recover. After about a month or two from my accident I was finally able to play. This time taught me a lot about resiliance and never giving up,” Jr. Drew Rothstein said.
