“One thing that makes me feel proud about myself is being in a room full of people or strangers, and I’ll always give my best effort to make others feel happy and comfortable, at peace and find joy in the small things. I love being a source for others that need advice or just someone to talk to because I know life is hard for people and I like being able to make things fun for others. The reason l feel this is always so important is to put a smile on someone’s face or to see them laugh or even break a smile, it’s always worth it to see someone happy. Sometimes people don’t go home with a smile or even come to school with one, it’s so important to me to always be a light for people. Even when times may be difficult for others I’ll always be willing to shine and bring a bit of joy and hope into someone’s life because you never know what is going on in their personal lives and being able to be that positive thing for someone is genuinely such a beautiful feeling to me. I could go on and on about all of the great memories I’ve created at school and just not caring what others think about me and it has paid off. I love knowing I have made an impact on people and that is what makes me proud and want to continue,” Sr. Isaac Garcia said.
