“When asked the question what piece of advice would I give my past self, two things come to mind. The first piece of advice that I would give to a younger version of myself is to live life the way you want it. Don’t do things only to make other people happy, but instead do what makes you happy. Stop trying to please everyone else while ignoring your own feelings to make others content with theirs. Do what you want to do because you will live a much happier life. My second piece of advice would be to let things go more easily. It’s very difficult, but you shouldn’t let the little things get to you so much. Take a breath and leave it behind you because you’re never going to grow until you learn to stop dwelling. Live in the present because you won’t get anywhere by living in the past,” Sr. Kaila Vork said.
