“I am most passionate about gardening, but specifically my mini blueberry field in my backyard. This is a new hobby for me but it is one that has quickly turned into a passion. I love that it allows me an opportunity and an excuse to be outside. Currently, I am growing and caring for 12 blueberry plants in my backyard. When my kids were younger I went blueberry picking with them. I loved it and couldn’t understand why I’d never gone blueberry picking before. At first, I went blueberry picking several times each year so I could enjoy the blueberry picking, the fresh blueberries, and then I froze blueberries so we could eat them year-round. At that time I was still trying to grow vegetables in my garden like tomato plants and cucumbers and then it occurred to me that I should have my own blueberry field so I don’t have to go somewhere to pick blueberries.
